Lol, super late Valentine's Day drawing! ^^; (Posted Feburary 16th, 2009)

I drew this for John, ~Limitedsightman as a kiriban prize and a Valintine's Day gift. There's not a whole lot of cuddling, but I really wanted to play off the whole "opposites attract" deal. Black and White. Fire and Ice. Cat and Dog. Guy and Girl...you get the picture.

The white tiger with black wings is in a way, John, I suppose. It's kind of an inside joke, but if he were an animal, he'd definately be a white tiger. (Or possibly a Displacer Beast) And in a way, the black wolf with white wings is kind of supposed to be me. I would've prefered to use a different fursona, but this one worked better.

So anyways...
I know I didn't do a very good job of explaining this picture...sorry...^^;
Let me know how you think I did! I used a ton of different things, markers, pens, AND colored pencils, all in one drawing! *gasp!*

If you're wondering how long it took to make...A SHITLOAD OF TIME!

I think you did a great job! :D Those wings must have taken FOREVER! - the detail is off the charts! :faint: I also really like the fire and ice effects, the colors on those are wonderful! :clap:

Good work! 8D I really lie this peice. :3 And just to play up the firevs.ice kinda theme going on, why not some kind of volcanic looking montain with ice bits, or a river of something? Yah... 8D

Thanks! Actually, I really like to draw wings, so they didn't take long for me. And the shading on Snow's wing didn't take long, because I draw my best when I'm stressed it seems, so I decided to shade the wing and finish touching up the coloring to relieve stress. Although, it probably did take alot of time, I just didn't notice it passing. ^^; My mom said the same thing about the detail, too!
I love the ice and fire effects, too! I love using those markers. THOSE take forever! :XD:

Drawing and stress relief go hand in hand for me - when I still lived at home that's all I did was draw...cuz I was constantly under stress! ^^;

I'll have to check out those markers you keep talking about...I'm not a big fan of Faber Castell (I prefer the Prismacolor markers) but they seem to yield pretty good results :sherlock:
